Brainstorm Blog #3

There is nothing more magical in the world than reading a good book. Spending hours being transported into another world where magic, heroes, wars, love, hate, mysteries, ect. all happen inside your head is something that I’ve been addicted to since my dad read me The Hobbit when I was a child. A good book captures you in no way that a movie, tv show, or video game could ever do. I want to try and translate that feeling of being transported to a new world, being sucked into a magical place. My plan for this project is to have real life scene of picking up various books from a ‘library’ and reading them. I would then spend a few seconds animating various scenes, using various techniques, from these books before getting transported back to the real world. I would do this for a few of my favorite books before finally choosing one and staying in it as the time goes on.
